MENGNIU DAIRY<02319> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of China Mengniu Dairy Company Limited (the "Company"),
trading in its shares has been suspended with effect from 2:30 p.m. today
(30/6/2006) pending the release of an announcement by the Company 
regarding placing of existing shares by substantial shareholders, which is 
price sensitive in nature.
